Halloween is just around the corner. Interestingly enough, so is the first installment of the seventh Harry Potter movie. The latest is based on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, two-part film in the franchise set tie up loose ends and finally show us the world Harry finally (Muggle and wizarding alike) exempt from this dastardly bugger Voldemort.
To celebrate this momentous occasion in the history of the so-called HP verses, we expect a lot of fans dress up like our favorite boy,-lebte and his cohorts come Halloween. Here are a few tips that can help you through.
She'll need glasses, a black robe, a lip liner or face paint, round hat, wall and broom.
Get an old black robe from the costume store or business to meet the academic ceremonies. You can hire a black robe, a judge or lawyer you relative (in case you use still stuffy old things in court).
Search glasses for a few rounds. Seriously, both the books and films explicitly describe and show Harry's glasses to be round. So if you see someone with thick, round glasses, you're Harry Potter fans probably.
Draw Harry's scar. Use a lipstick, lip liner or face paint to draw a lightning bolt figure. Can the scar on the right side of the forehead position.
Make or buy a magic wand. Harry Potter uses the brand Holly and Phoenix wall, so if you want to look authentic, you can go and look for a replica. But if we not see Harry Potter geeks who think anyone would notice if you just a 11 inch long branch cut off and swish it around during incanting spells.
Get a broom stick, and write "Nimbus 2000" or "Firebolt" on the handle. We doubt that Harry Potter fans will miss the clue.
If the appearance to be more authentic, wear a jacket and tie in the garment. The tie should be in the Gryffindor colors red and gold.
Bring a white OWL in a cage.
Harry's friends usually wear similar clothes, but with a few variations. We will discuss this in upcoming posts.
